Look, this is like the mountains of indignant response I get arguing that some obscure aspect of blackface or another is actually all good, and hey, I just don’t get the local culture or tradition. Well guess what, fuckers, even allowing for the purest of motives, blackface, swastikas, the Confederate flag, and all that shit has been taken from you, by racists, and those things will never not be racist. Honestly, what is the upside in trying to wipe the shit off of these symbols? Move the fuck on, find something new to hang your (allegedly) non-racist hat on.
